Probably the fastest way to learn Japanese yet.

The Japanese government ought to give this guy an award for coming up with what is possibly the fastest way to learn Japanese.

Composed and posted by YouTuber Sanyuan_JAPAN, this catchy tune not only repeats the 50 sounds of Japanese vocabulary. It also captures common greetings (“Good morning”, “Let’s eat”, “Long time no see”, and many “Thank you’s”), the different pronouns used to address yourself (“watashi”, “boku”, “ore”), selected mimetic terms (“Waku Waku”, “Uru Uru”, “Ira Ira”) and even what postures to take when you’re apologetic.

Don’t worry about catching up. This video has embedded captions in Japanese, English and even Mandarin (turns out he’s trilingual in all three and is huge in Taiwan. #languagegoals). And you can replay this as many times as you want.

Enjoy the new earworm!
